keep/toss garters???

You wear both of them on the wedding day, the groom takes the toss one off and throws it (usually put it on second so it is the first one to come off).

U can wear both of them if you want...just be sure to wear the toss one lower than other so groom can get it. I'm just having the toss one, I know myself too well & dont want to just keep one to keep it stashed away somewhere

I would ask for a green ribbon instead of the pink...But I have never (gasp!) ordered anything from etsy before. I constantly hear great things about it WW tho, and the seller has 99% positive feed back, so I think I'm gonna go for it!

That is a really pretty garter. I have ordered many things from etsy sellers: garters, toasting flutes, flowers, hankies, etc. its pretty much like a cooler craftier version of ebay. I'd say go for it, they have excellent reviews :-)

I always figured you could just slip it on later, change them out so to speak. I plan on having mine just above the knee. I have an issue with my FH rooting around under my dress in public, in front of our entire family and friends.

I'm doing it a lil different.I'm wearing 2 USAF garters~one on each leg.I'll tell FH what leg my toss garter is on & I'll make sure I'll have that leg "out".Then on my other leg will be the nicer USAF garter for FH to keep!

@ Missy - that's what my BFF/MOH & I were thinking originally, to wear the toss one just above the knee, for the same reason you mentioned. I just wasn't sure if there was a "correct" way to wear them - either at the same time or to switch them out. Plus, I don't know exactly when I would switch them out.

I'm atually going to wear mine, I think it's beautiful and I will have FH take it off but have the toss garter handy somewhere so he tosses the simpler one

* I won't be wearing both of them, I meant to say... I think just the thought of lace around my leg/thigh will have me going crazy, so 1 will have to do.... lol
