Wedding details
We 1st met at a birthday/halloween party of a mutual acquintance at Tribeca Lounge on 10/30/2005. There were sparks there at that moment, but we just stayed in touch as friends. Occassionally throughout the next year, we kept in touch and would run into eachother around Houston. Then, one magical night on 11/20/2006, we bumped into eachother at PubFiction, a sports pub we both enjoy. The sparks that were put on hold a year ago turned into fireworks as we danced to Al Green tunes from a jukebox at Warren's in downtown. From that moment, we took our time to get to know eachother and our families. It's true what they say..."the right things happen at the right time." Love is patient and it was worth the wait! THE PROPOSAL We woke up in Hotel Atitlan in Guatemala on our vacation. I opened the curtains to a beautiful view of lush gardens and volcanoes. We went to go eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant with my Godparents, Rossy & Juancho. We sat outside enjoying the view & company, Jason was a bit quiet though. After we finished with our breakfast, Jason said he wanted us to take pictures in the garden area. So we posed with my Godparents, switched sides & poses. Then, Jason asked Rossy to take a picture of just us two. I went to go sit on this big vase thingy while Jason helped Rossy with the camera.... Jason walks up to me with this serious face, stands infront of me, and grabs a hold of both of my hands. I was expecting bad news!! But then in my head I'm thinking "why would he have Rossy take a picture of this horrible news I'm expecting!" He starts, "I have something to tell you. I love you with all of my heart and want to spend the rest of my life with you!" I was SHOCKED!! He was crying and got down on one knee. I honestly didn't hear what else he said, I just kept hugging him & kissing him! Then he tells me, "you haven't said yes or no." I screamed, "OF COURSE I WILL!" Best part...it was all caught on video! He even surprised me with videos from my family congratulating us and telling me how Jason went to ask for their blessings before we even went on our vacation! It was the sweetest and so romantic. This trip was the best so far...although it was quite a trip: we experienced seeing protests in the streets, our 1st tremor, a volcano eruption, rain of black sand, tropical storm that caused unfortunate disasters & sinkholes-but it didn't ruin our happiness & we can't wait to have a lifetime of experiences together!

Has anyone used airbrush makeup? My MOH did for her wedding and loved it. I will be having a late-June outdoor ceremony, so I'm thinking it is the way to go so that I don't have to worry about...
