Keep or Skip: Spotlight Dances?

Keeping the first dance but skipping the spotlight dances

FH and I have had the song picked out after only a couple months together.

My father would never admit to it but he is really looking forward to our dance. He came early to every dance when I was in school so that he could dance at least once with me. It was embarrassing but also the sweetest thing ever so I cant wait for that one either.

FH won't be doing a mother son dance though as he is not particularly close with his mother or step mother and both would be quite upset if he danced with his grandmother instead.

Only keeping our first dance. We only have a 2 hour reception and I don't want to take up the whole time with special dances that no one else is having fun during.

We are keeping the first dance but not doing any others.

Um .......... I'm not sure. We may just do the first dance with FH and I, but only for a minute. Then I'm making other people get up and dance, lol.
This whole wedding thing is awkward for us as we don't like the attention anyway. The first dance to an entire song will probably kill us 😂

We are doing a short first dance (actually having the music fade out after the first chorus), and then I'm doing a father/daughter dance. FH's mom passed 12 years ago, so no dance there.

I would have spotlight dances if I was having a reception with dancing. It would only be first dance though. However, our reception isn't set up for dancing, so no dances for us.
