Keep or Skip: Champagne Toast?

Lynnie, on May 30, 2018 at 1:33 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 67

This week we're playing " keep or skip " with popular wedding traditions! We want to know which traditions you are keeping, and which ones you are skipping. ✔️

Are you having a champagne toast at your reception? Or skipping this tradition?

Skip: We are having beer and wine only to cut costs and are families aren't really champagne people, lol. We will still do toasts but not with champagne.

Keep sort of. We're doing toasts but it's some kind of non champagne. However since we have less guests than we expected, we may be able to upgrade to actual champagne. But yes, toasts and bubbly are happening.

Keep! Champagne toasts were included in our package but guests could also toast with whatever they were drinking.

Keeping, sort of. We are doing toasts just haven't decided if we're doing champagne or whatever they're already drinking.

We will do roasts and probably have champagne available for those who want it, but won’t pass it to each guest.

We are keeping this, but only because it was included in our wedding package.

Kind of both. We're doing one before dinner at our DW but decided to skip it for our reception at home. We may toast but people can just drink whatever they already have.

Keeping. It's included in the wedding package from our venue. We'll also have a wine toast after the ceremony.

Hasn't been decided if we'll purchase champagne, but we're planning to do toasts

Skip. This isn't popular with weddings I've been to.

Skipping. We will likely just toast with whatever we are already drinking instead.

Keep! We'll have toasts either at dinner or at the cabin during dessert, we have a couple of bottles of champagne set aside for this!

We will be serving prosecco at the bar - but our guests will toast with whatever drink they have.
