Keep or Skip: Bouquet Toss?

Lynnie, on May 30, 2018 at 1:33 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 80

This week we're playing " keep or skip " with popular wedding traditions! We want to know which traditions you are keeping, and which ones you are skipping. ✔️

Are you tossing the bouquet? Or are you skipping this tradition?

Skip. Won't be many single people there anyway and I don't like this tradition.

We are skipping the bouquet toss only because there really is no one who is single that we have invited! If there was more people I would want to do it! I loved doing it when I went to weddings and was single!

Haven't decided on this yet, but most likely will skip.

Although I did catch the bouquet at the last wedding I went to Smiley winking we're skipping this. I think it can be fun depending on the crowd. But it's very cringey to see adult women pushed/pressured by others to line up when they clearly don't think it's fun.

Skip!! I hate being called out on the dance floor to "fight" for some flowers. I usually stand in the back and pretend to try to catch it but its rather embarrassing. Even engaged, my friends make me get out there. I can't wait to be married just so I don't have to go back out there!

We also have a lot of married friends, so I'm skipping this because I don't think I'll even have a lot of girls out there for it.

Me and my wife both threw our bouquets at the same time, it was really fun. We kept it!

I thought I would do bouquet toss, but seeing comments I'm realizing that I won't have many single ladies attending.

I have nothing against this tradition, just won't be doing it myself.

Keeping, even though the number of single people will be minimal. I think it's fun, and I caught 3 of my friends bouquets. (Never fought for them though)

We are skipping. We only have a few single guests coming and I don't want to point them out.

Skip. Like the garter toss, its just awkward. I didn't like it as a single guest and didn't want to call out our 2 single guests.

Skip, I think it would be terribly uncomfortable for the total of 7 unmarried girls at my wedding 😅 4 of them in serious long-term relationships.

Skipping. I always found it awkward and we only have a few single female guests, all over 40 - including the groom's mom. So, I don't think anyone would be up for it anyway.

Skipping! I don't have many single friends, and I don't feel like making them scramble to gather a bunch of flowers.

We're doing an anniversary instead, and we'll be giving a small bouquet to the couple that has been together the longest!

Skipping! I want to keep my bouquet haha. Also most of the people coming are married. It would literally be between two girls, and I don't want to single anyone out like that.

Skip. As someone who was single for a long time, I hated this part of weddings. Also, since I'm older, we hardly have any guests who are single.

It's fun for the moment to participate in it, but I won't have many single friends to have at mine. Plus I'd rather have more time for dancing!
