Cancel - do what you want. It's your wedding. I do believe that certain parts are necessary but there is no reason you can't change up some of the wording.

Cancel! Writing your own are definitely more personable! Also a non traditional ceremony written with the couple in mind is an added bonus.

My man is uncomfortable with being the center of attention so writing our own vows was out. The compromise. We each chose something that we wanted to say sent by our celebrant and will each repeat after her. We're saying different things that are non traditional but still beautiful!

Keep. I like the traditional wedding vows since they are simple but yet to the point. I don’t think the vows should be personal to everyone who has a wedding, but if others want to do that then so be it.

Cancel, I'd rather make it more connected to who we are as a couple and he feels the same. It helps that we aren't doing a religious ceremony either.

I'm okay with keeping most of it, but really, you do you.

I'm all for canceling this one. I love when couples write their own vows but my fiance isn't as sold on it.

This past weekend we did our own vows...and holy cow, we received so many compliments on them. From people that knew us as a couple and couldn't help gushing about how perfect they felt they were for us, and those that didn't that just adored the fact that we had something more personal that they could tell we each put a lot of thought and work into for one another.

We are making ours more personal to suit us and our marriage. I have already written mine, and he says he doesn't need to because the words are in his heart Smiley heart!

Keep & Cancel? We like some of the traditional vows, but do also plan on saying our own.

Cancel. I still love the tradition but it's nice when people put their own spin on the vows.

Cancel. I want individual heartfelt words, not something written by someone else.

    I have mine already done.
