Val, I use muslin for a backing, its cheap and pretty sturdy, yet soft enough for there to be a nice drape. I use a 10 ft by 1 ft piece. FutureMrsDickinson, they are fake, I used roses, hydrangea and white orchids.

That is gorgeous. Do you mind me asking about how much it cost for that table runner? If you don't want to mention, that is okay. Either way you nailed it!

Thanks so much everyone!! Breecheez, I am not sure now much it cost to make, probably in the neighborhood of $150 for all of the materials, the flowers which cost the most to buy are the orchids. I get all my flowers from the wholesalers in downtown Los Angeles who usually resell big stores like Michaels, Joanns, etc

I got a resale permit for the business I want to start, if you can get one, you can save money in tax. There are also some great shops around this area, but make sure you go with a friend/fiancee etc, the neighborhood is kind of yucky.
