Just vent 26 days to go!!

So last month I posted a discussion about me venting and how I was frustrated because my MIL didn’t get her dress yet and she’s in the wedding. (People were saying oh she has plenty of time) At that time last month I had free time and I could drive her around to find a dress, because I knew I didn’t have time this month to do so. So what happens she tells me no in August just to call me today to say can you take me to the store to help me find my dress......I’m like no MIL I offered to help last month, my whole September is booked with work and last minute details that don’t include her dress. So FH will take his mom shopping!

    Like a bridesmaid in the wedding or simply in the professional?
    My MIL bought her dress 2-3 days before the wedding. She went on her own and picked something she liked. She sent me a couple of pictures of what she tried on. I don’t even think I picked which one for her to get. It all worked out fine. She looked great day of. Theres no need to stress over this. Now, if she’s a bridesmaid, she’ll just have to go shopping and find a dress in the right color. Not much you can do about a matching dress at this point. But it will be fine. Try not to worry about that.

    My mom bought her dress this weekend, and our wedding is 6 days away. It was not an issue at all and she found a great dress!

    Trust in the fact that people are adults, and can/should figure things out on their own. Good for you to say no to shopping with her since you are busy with other things.
