This is something I also can talk about all day as well. My wedding is upcoming next month on October 30th of this year we still have a few things to iron out before the big day. Our color are grey and yellow this is our second date of certain situations. We are having a small wedding about 75-80 ppl max. That's bc of some of their plus 1 we had too cap it we really were trying to stay understand 65 -70 ppl. Our theme is elegant romance with lit candles down the aisle and on the tables and yes. I also have my dress its a ivory mermaid fit with flare at the bottom. Our wedding party is small 4 each on each side it's all family and its a evening wedding my family and friends are doing the decorations for our venue. Buffet style dinner and cocktail hour as well we are making our own bouquets and bountaires and wristbands corsages for our parentsJust feel like hearing everyone’s wedding plans! 1

Awww this thread is so fun!

We're getting married 2 weeks before Christmas and I've been calling our wedding "Gothic Christmas meets Art Deco New Years Eve". Lots of black and gold with pops of deep emerald green and burgundy (my bridal party and the flowers are deep emerald and burgundy, but all our linens are black, our cake is going to be mainly gold etc). Lots of candles. Lots of twinkle lights. Our aisle is being flanked by lanterns on shepherd hooks and candles on the ground.

We're having a slightly bigger wedding than I wanted (invited 104 but expect about 85) and we're doing things a bit different guest wise - I'm from the Boston area, but we're getting married in Los Angeles (where I've been for 16 years and where my fiancé is from) so we're not inviting my family (except my parents) as we are having a second (much more casual) reception back east in April of 2023. I'm also wearing a dress that is 85% black (with a cocktail version of the dress being made for the April party!).

Our wedding invites actually just went out this week and we ordered our wedding rings the other day. Definitely starting to feel very very real!

We are having a small backyard wedding. 😊 We have a big yard and just want something small and intimate. That way we can splurge a little bit without going over budget! We’re deff splurging on photography and catering. Our colors are different shades of pink and white. We’re going for a pink fall vibe, so maybe some pink and white pumpkin decor to give it that feel. We want it to be classy but relaxed. It’s just a matter of getting these rentals and vendors booked and then we plan on DIYing our dance floor and bar! I’m so excited!!

Ooo this sounds gorgeous!! I feel you on keeping the guest list smaller, it gives more room to splurge in other areas 😊

Same 😂 even for a 25 person wedding, which is what we’re doing, I’m fine with it being even smaller than that. Less people to pay for!

We're 17 days away!!!! we're getting married in new york in the fall at a historic estate along the hudson - our dream. we're hoping some foliage will be peeking out but it's a bit early in the season, so we'll see! my fiancé is more traditional, and i'm more funky, so we have a really fun blend of both for the whole wedding vibe. the wedding "color" is a palette of rust/blush/peach/terracotta. he's wearing a black tux/bowtie and my dress is very classic, stationery was very classic and formal, but we'll also have a massive asymmetrical floral arch at the ceremony, the reception will have 15 disco balls over the dance floor, vintage amber glassware, etc. i'm hoping it's just the right mix of both my fiancé and me Smiley kiss

photos will be all whimsical / blurry / editorial style. we love our photographer who just gets us, so we're very excited!! here's a photo of the mood board, venue, and a shot from our engagement photos Smiley smile

happy planning to all! Smiley heart

We got engaged May of 2022 and I have the whole thing planned at this point! Our wedding will be on June 10, 2023. We are having it at a private golf course that looks like it belongs in Italy! Dusty blue, sage, and ivory are my wedding colors, and our theme is Ethereal Fairy Garden (with some modern touches). Flowers will be the wow factor for our big day. My dress is PERFECT. A-line, with lace/flower appliques and a dramatic train, as our aisle is easily 150 feet long. Our mini Aussie will be our flower pup, with my brother walking her down the aisle right before me (fingers crossed she isn't too highly strung that day). We are hoping to keep the guest list under 100 people but my fiance has a super large extended family. He is one of 6 and his mother is one of 10... yes, 10! Our reception will be in the clubhouse, which is on the second story and surrounded by huge mature trees - really feels like you're in a tree house! I cannot wait...

In 17 days, we'll be having our wedding. Actually, it will be a Catholic convalidation wedding ceremony because when hubby and I were married 38 years ago come June 1, we could not have a Catholic wedding. My first marriage was recently annulled which is why we're doing this now. It will be a very small, simple, but beautiful day. The ceremony will take place during the regular 10AM Mass at our parish church. It will be performed by our pastor and we will exchange our original wedding rings. Our 36 year old son will be Best Man and his 2 young children will participate as well by bringing the Offertory gifts of bread and wine to the altar. My best and dearest friend, who is also the church music/choir director/organist (I am in her choir) will be Matron of Honor. She will leave the organ to attend me at the altar during the ceremony, and will sing Ave Maria after the ceremony. Her husband will usher and take photos. Our choir will sing hymns that the choir director/MOH and I chose together. In the afternoon, MOH and her husband are hosting our wedding dinner at a nearby favorite elegant Italian restaurant, just the 8 of us including the priest. There will be a wedding cake, made by another dear friend who is a professional baker, which she will deliver to the restaurant and which will be topped by our original cake topper - a Precious Moments Bride and Groom figurine. The table will be decorated with a nuptial candle set, a shower gift from MOH, which we will light together to begin the dinner. There will be favors: small personalized crosses & heart shaped magnets, Hershey Kisses and traditional Jordan almonds, in little ivory gift boxes that say "Thank You" in gold, tied with gold ribbons. I am wearing a creamy ivory lace sheath dress with a sheer coat over it, a matching bow with a tiny veil headpiece, matching shoes, and will carry a small bouquet of roses, etc. in a variety of shades of ivory, off white, with greenery. There will be boutonnieres for the men, a wrist corsage for my MOH, and a little basket of flowers for our 9 year old granddaughter. My bridegroom will wear a new formal black suit, white shirt with French cuffs, black shoes and a beautiful paisley tie in shades of black, gold and turquoise. After the dinner, hubby and I will have the honeymoon we never had - 3 days in a luxury hotel in PA Dutch country. (we had a house then a baby instead.) In the words of Psalm 118 which the choir will be singing that day, "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad."
