June brides, anyone canceling?

June brides, how are you holding up? Canceling, postponing, or holding on? I’m holding on and praying things turn for the better. I just financially can’t afford to postpone or cancel.

Thank you for your concern. I’ll start thinking about Plan B when my planner tells me to. I’m choosing to hope for the best. I would hate to postpone 2 months out and things start to turn for the better in a month. I prefer to wait. Good luck!

I'm June 27th, I have not canceled anything. I am worried, but definitely hopeful things will be over by the end of June. Honestly, it's just so hard to stay motivated and continue planning when there's a possibility that it may not happen that date.

My fiance is so chill and optimistic, but I'm that source of realism. Good luck to all on this stressful, roller coaster! May the odds be in our favor 🙂

June 5th bride here! I already canceled my bridal shower which was supposed to be happening tomorrow 💔 and my bachelorette has also been canceled. I’m so heartbroken and have been having a lot of anxiety over this whole situation. It’s tough to digest that all the time spent planning and looking forward to our special day is in jeopardy. My FH and I have discussed the possibility of postponing but we are waiting until closer to mid-April to decide. We live in LA and the safer at home order set forth by the mayor is supposed to be through April 19. We are hopeful that closer to that date there will be good news and we can move forward with our original date. We are prepared to postpone but we pray we don’t need to🙏🏽 Sending lots of love to all brides who are going through this.

Definitely feeling the slow panic in waves over here. Renee and other April-July brides I hear and feel you! We do not want our day of celebration to be marred by this health crisis. I’d hate for guests to be dressed to the nines with face masks and gloves! FH’s side of the family are all in the 65+ club. FH suggested that we decorate the living room of our new-to-us home with the wedding decorations and live-stream the wedding...I was so mad I didn’t talk to him for the rest of the day! I’m set on holding on until at least a month out.

Ummmm yeah if mine would have came to me with that he would have been cussed out clean and smooth. 😂 I’ve noticed that he’s being extra nice to me as he probably sees the anxiety on my face. We’re going to have to talk about it soon but he’s dancing around me lol. Hang in their sis!

I’m trying to push my June 7 wedding to next year around the same time. I want my family and friends from up north to come down and the thought of them having to get on a plane freaks me out. I think we haven’t even begun to see the peak yet in Florida. I work in the health care field and it’s very hard to get supplies. Praying this virus ends very soon.

June27th bride, Totally agree with venues booking up. My venue has Sunday of Labor Day weekend available, should I take it? Ahh I’m so confused!

Lol, everyone not from New York, loves New York. Lol. Unfortunately, I didn’t buy my dress from Kleinfeld. It was on my list of bridal shops to go to but I found my dress at Lotus Bridal, the first shop I went to. 😊

Yes New York is good for partying! Caribbeans can find a good party here especially Labor Day weekend. Lol. Yeah I’m trying to move out of NY soon, ready for a more slow pace life. Lol. You be safe as well. 🙏🏽😊

I am waiting for the venue to cancel too. Our date is June 5th. We have a very small 30 guest wedding planned but I am keeping hope unless they cancel. It’s a beach ceremony. It’s really hit the Detroit area hard. The good news is we may peak sooner than later but of course the bad news is not knowing when. My fiancé and I considered a private ceremony on the beach on our original date and having a small reception later. That will be our plan B. Do you two have a plan B yet?
