Hello lovely July brides! I originally wanted a winter wedding but living in northern Michigan, that wasn’t very plausible so we settled on a May wedding. However, with the pandemic happening, we have had to postpone our May wedding until July. We’ve never wanted to get married in the middle of the hot summer. Any advice for hot July weddings? Our ceremony/reception space is indoor with outdoor options.

I’m July but I love the summer but I know a lot of people don’t so we’re having an indoor ceremony and indoor reception but the doors will be open with an outside area for people to go outside if they want.

Our venue has the option to have an outdoor ceremony in a garden or an indoor ceremony in a chapel. I’m not sure how people will feel about the outdoor option

I hear ya a lot of people don’t like the heat that’s why I decided to do it indoors we had an option to do it outdoors as well which was beautiful but I didn’t want people melting and not enjoying it so I decided to do it indoors which is also beautiful as well whatever you choose I’m sure will be beautiful!

My wedding is in July in Florida .. so definitely hot but we are inside. I'm sure if you're inside , you'll be fine in Michigan! No worries

I'm definitely a Fall person, but our date in July is a special one for our relationship. Thus, we will be indoors with plenty of air conditioning!

Fans and shade for your guests!! We sat in direct sunlight for almost an hour at a summer wedding and it was MISERABLE.
