Future Mrs.Randolph
Dedicated February 2022

Jan-may 2022 Brides

It seems like more 2020 brides who pushed to 2021 are pushing their weddings back to 2022 due to COVID so it makes me wonder if my February 2022 date would be even "somewhat" safe. Im planning on 80-100 guests. Any Winter/Spring Brides nervous about COVID the 1st half of 2022? Or are you confident...

Any Winter/Spring Brides nervous about COVID the 1st half of 2022? Or are you confident that we'll be somewhat(not completely) normal?

I’m getting married in March 12th, 2022 and I’m so nervous about it but I’m not gonna replan my whole wedding day. I’m hoping and praying things will be much better next year cuz I don’t want to wear a mask the whole time and when I do wear one my anxiety hits me and I can’t breathe

Concerned but hopeful. If vaccines are open to all, we're thinking about making that a requirement prior to attending our wedding. When in doubt, masks work great too! March 2022, 80-120 guests

With much back and forth and wedding spiraling..I just booked my wedding for April 29, 2022- ceremony outside/reception inside. I am hopeful COVID will be under control by then and I can have a 'normal' (no masks), by then. COVID definitely takes away the fun of wedding planning. I want to start dress shopping with a few people, but due to COVID I will probably only have 1 person with me or just go by myself. It's these small things that take the joy out of the wedding planning experience. I am remaining hopeful though...things HAVE to get better, especially since the vaccine is rolling out.

I’ve already told everyone, I was not changing my date. If you don’t feel comfortable coming, then don’t. But I’ve already paid for almost everything for my January 2022 wedding & I’m not pushing it.

Our original date was October 30, 2021. We postponed to May 13, 2022 and we are keeping it. We are planning on inviting 200 people. We will be creating a COVID-19 guest list as well, just in case.

Winter is always the sicker months so I am sure there will be some lingering in Jan maybe even Feb (hopefully not) but by march things should start slowing down and normalizing again (hopefully). I think masks in general are going to be around for a long time there after just when people are sick and in the winter months. I chose the end of April to push as far as i could towards summer without being in peak season or my birthday lol

Yea i refuse to replan not only because of how extensive the planning process is but also some vendors you have to rebook (in contract) and if you look in the contract you still owe full price whether you use them or not after a certain point. So absolutely not.

Honestly, I kind of have my doubts about things returning to stone cold normal. I think with new regulations, things could go a lot better. I know a lot of brides refused to replan in 2020 and I saw lots of 100+ people maskless weddings online, which freaked me out. However, I think even if things aren't back to normal, we won't cancel. If anything, will just go from 30 guests to immediate family. We have already booked everyone and made deposits and all this but I also don't want to reschedule. If anything, everyone will still come, unless they're maskless. I don't think we'll be in masks next year but hopefully that's not just wishful thinking!

I am a little nervous because we are planning on 150 guests but ours is in May 2022 so I am hoping with the vaccine rolling out that things can be normal again. All I can do right now is plan as if it won't be a problem and hope it works out.

I’m not worried, but I’m also planning my wedding as if we will still be in a pandemic. Inviting 100 in person and another 100-150 guests to attend virtually. My date is 4/23/2022

We have our wedding booked for 2-12-2022 and I’m feeling pretty confident that all of us brides will be ok. I’m praying for that at least.
