Future Mrs.Randolph
Dedicated February 2022

Jan-may 2022 Brides

Future Mrs.Randolph, on January 14, 2021 at 2:44 PM Posted in Planning 10 123
It seems like more 2020 brides who pushed to 2021 are pushing their weddings back to 2022 due to COVID so it makes me wonder if my February 2022 date would be even "somewhat" safe. Im planning on 80-100 guests.

Any Winter/Spring Brides nervous about COVID the 1st half of 2022? Or are you confident that we'll be somewhat(not completely) normal?

I think that it will be much safer then it is now, although not completely normal like you mentioned.

Very nervous but fingers crossed 🙏🏼 I wanted to pay whole venue off now when we go see it but my fiance advised me on doing deposits for now until we get further into 2021

I'm nervous but I'm only planning for 50 guests including the bridal party. I just don't want to wear a mask my whole wedding day...and I have a few people I'm inviting that are pretty conscious of the Covid thing and probably won't come if it's still a huge thing by March 2022.

Mine is 2/12/2022 a lil nervous but I think we can see by the Summer/Fall of 2021 how things go, at this point I can’t stress over it. We booked a venue for 175 guests. If we have to downsize I’m cool with that too.

I'm not that worried. Our date is 4/16/22, and I'm staying very positive that things will be better by then. Better doesn't mean normal, but I fully believe there will be less restrictions by then. Someone else posted that by summer/fall 2021 we'll have a better idea of what things will look like for next spring, and I totally agree. But that being said, my fiance' and I already decided that we are not changing our date, and we would rather reduce the guest list than have to change everything else if things haven't improved.

My fiance and I were engaged August 2020, and we both decided to wait until 2022 to plan our wedding because of all this COVID pandemic. I was too concerned that it will still be around in 2021, so we played it safe, to plan it for September 2022. Does your venue have a policy if Covid is still around then? Are they allowing you to reschedule?

Mines Jan 15, 2022 and although I’m nervous , we’ve decided not to change our date. Our guest list has 110 people on it currently (with a lot of them being from out of the country since I’m Canadian) so I’m predicting it will be about 50-60 people in the end. I think a lot can change in a year and am just trying to think really positive!

We are currently planning for Jan 2022, and we are moving forward at the moment. Guest list is currently about 125 and our biggest concern is that we do have many folks who need to travel.

With the vaccines currently being rolled out and new federal guidelines/support - we are hoping to have a better idea of how things are looking in a few months. Luckily, our venue does have a built in policy that if COVID impacts our plans we can reschedule, I believe 6 months further out (or further if necessary).

Mine is 1/29/22! I’m planning as if they’re won’t be an issue, and my vendors are all operating under the same assumption. I’m a little nervous only because the wedding has to be inside due to the season. Even if we have to wear masks, I’m just hoping by that point we can have 100+ people inside.

We are planning for a Jan 2022 wedding as well, with a large guest list. My hopes are night that things will be better soon. Maybe it won’t be normal, but better. I think the deployment of the vaccine and the new regulations give me hope that things will be better soon.

My wedding is 3/26/22 and I’m saying confident that we will still be able to have our normal 160 person wedding. If we have to wear masks, that’s better than no wedding. But yeah wait until the summer/fall before anything else. I’m keeping our date and if it means we downsize to 50-75 people and can still have our wedding inside I’m cool with that!

I am also worried about this, I am currently looking at venues so we can pick a date but I am hesitant to plan for Jan-March 2022, and may wait until fall of 2022(due to stress and budgeting too)...We are in AZ so summer weddings are unfortunately not really an option.
