Ivory / Light Gold wedding dress

If you love it but you are that worried do not buy it. I suggest trying on the dress and if you can't I am sure you will be able to find one you love just as much if not more. Trying on dresses changes things and makes you fall in love with the one truly. You could buy this dress by ordering it online, get it and HATE it or it looks horrible.

When I was looking there was a dress I wanted, I tried it on and it looked nice but just not for me. It did not look good on me and I had high high hopes but the one I found I absolutely adore and can't see myself in anything else.

And if you are truly wanting ivory or white and you can't see yourself in anything but, then does not sound like the dress. There seems to be too many concerns at this point for this to be your dress.

It's gorgeous- I say go for it but those colors are my thing!

I think it's beautiful. Why are you so set on white? That dress doesn't look light gold to me anyway.

I think it's one of those things that when I think about "light gold" it makes me feel not "bridal". But I absolutely adored it when I had it one. I'm getting all wrapped up in my own head as I'm thinking more about it!

The difference with the ivory on ivory dress will be that the lace detail won't pop as much and will blend in a little with the underlay. Could you see what other bridal shops carry this designer and call to see if they have an all ivory dress to try on?

Oh that dress is bridal alright. Don't worry about that! If you can't get the dress out of your mind, I think that means it must be for you :-)

My dress is a Maggie in ivory over light gold. I love it! The lace detail stands out much better than the all white one I tried in! That dress is beautiful!!

My dress was a ivory lace dress with a light gold satin slip. It was beautiful. I was also concerned and thought about ordering all ivory, but my mom told me to go with the gold. It photographed really well.

I think the gold would be GORGEOUS in photographs. Even though I am of the mindset that anything a bride wants to wear is "bridal," that dress seems almost stereotypically bridal. I wouldn't look at it and think it looked weird or out of place or unexpected on a bride.

I don't think you should think of it as "light gold". Think of the color as champagne. Maybe that will help with you wanting to wear it.

But it's a beautiful dress! And I agree the ivory over the champagne makes the lace stand out more and would look gorgeous in photographs.

It definitely looks more of a champagne to me than ivory. My dress was ivory lace over champagne and it really made the lace pop. I LOVE the dress in the photo and I would go for those colors.

I also have an ivory of light gold dress by Maggie sottero and I love that it's not bright white but that's just my personally preference! You honestly can't tell that the color is not white unless you put something pure white next to it. I say go for it

Did you see it in all white? I was sure I wanted a white dress and wouldn't budge until I saw it in white. Definitely changed my mind. Some dresses look better in ivory/light gold or champagne.
