We are getting married June 3rd 2023. I have booked the our venue and photographer so far. Have been doing a lot of research on other vendors but haven’t locked anything else in yet.

Your absolutely right! We have to start now! It’s a lot easier if you find a venue that is all inclusive. Then you have have to look for a dj and caters
No I’d suggest planning as ahead as you can because everything is booking up so quick the wedding venue I wanted only had one day open in the month I wanted and I’m not getting married till June 2023. I’ve already got my caterer, venue, alcohol vendor, and photographer. You can wait but you risk settling and no bride should have to settle! Good luck 🤍
We got engaged in 2020 and started immediately. Especially for venue and spreading the word for our out of state family. Having the venue and start the saving has made the process FUN and less stressful. Things you can start planning or thinking about:
Venue Theme Budget (must)
Dress
Flowers (and you have time to see what is in season)
I thought so too when we started to plan things last year. However, as I am trying to finish up some things so that I am able to budget for myself and provide others with the information I am noticing a lot of things are being booked up already.
Hopefully, you don't meet the same issues and get to enjoy the whole process!
We're getting married on 6/16/23 and have already booked our venue, hired our ceremony and cocktail band and I just bought my dress last weekend. I really wasn't sure if I was shopping for my dress too early but once I found out it would take 7-9 months to come in and then another month or 2 for alterations I quickly realized that I was right on point with planning!
I am getting married in June 2023. Yes I have already started planning. I originally was getting married this year. But changed because of everything that has happened since COVID. But I am planning and not changing my date again.
This is just the right time to start planning! You still have at least a year, which you'll definitely need. Now is the time to look for vendors, particularly venues, photographers, and DJs. Those are what will book up the fastest. Highly sought after venues in particular will fill up fast at least a year, maybe two in advance. If you haven't already, now is also a good time to start looking at dresses, even if you don't know which kind you want. This is when you should be getting your ideas. It doesn't hurt to try on a variety of styles, even if you're dead-set on one in particular. Good luck!
Never too early! I'd rather have too much time and peace of mind than less time to plan. We got engaged in September 2021 and just put a deposit down for our venue this week. Our wedding is in June 2023.
I don't think it's to early. We started about this time last year for January of 2023. I have to say a lot of stuff booked fast that sites tell you to do later in the year. Such as hair and makeup I booked this month, but heard back from a lot of places that they were already booked up. I think the planning timeline is changing a lot due to COVID and our new ways of life. How is your planning going? My favorite part has been finding my dress. Have you had the chance to look yet or have ideas of what you may like?
