Is it normal that me and my Fiance are fighting 2 months before our wedding?

I am getting married to my Fiance on October 30th, 2015. At least that’s our plan. I am getting married to my Fiance on October 30th, 2015. At least that’s our plan. Me and my Fiance got in a fight tonight about how I don’t have my cell phone, because I left it at my apartment on accident. And he knew I didn’t have my cell phone before we left my apartment and he didn’t tell me to go up and get it. He just let his dad drive away without letting me get my cell phone before we left. He didn’t even ask me if I wanted to go get it, that’s what really pissed me off. And I am addicted to my cell phone so I was pissed. And when I asked him if I could use his cell phone he said “No” which I thought was incondsiderate as f***. So, I looked up “Is it normal for couples to fight a lot right before the wedding?” and I found this website in the google search results. Someone had posted a topic just like this and I got the idea from the replies that this is normal. But, I wanted to see if what me and my Fiance fought about is normal or a bad sign.

I just don't even have a response for this one. Sounds like you're too young to be getting married.

Sweetheart. there are so many things wrong with this. 1. if you literally have a "cellphone addiction" you need to reevaluate your priorities. unless you have children, you should be able to run out without it. 2. the fact that you are questioning if you should married, means that you should absolutely not be getting married. i haven't doubted for a single second since the day i met FH that i wanted to marry him, so yes i think with it being 2 months away, that is a huge problem. i agree with whoever said, maybe he was hoping for a little attention from you. you need to figure out what the hell your doing immediately.

Too bad this post doesn't allow vendors... I would've loved to see Celia's and Centerpiece's response to this.

I think OP has left the building. So many questions left unanswered.

Is there more to the story that you haven't told us? As in, is the sort of the tiny straw that broke the camel's back? There is no way that you forgetting your cell phone and being mad at your FH about it should make you question your marriage. If this really is the full story, you shouldn't be getting married. You shouldn't even be dating anyone. I am not saying this from a mean spirited place, I am saying it because you are going to grow up to be a miserable, resentful person if your own mistakes make you angry at someone else.

Also, if you are that addicted to your cell phone, you need help.

I've been wondering the same thing... is this a real?

If so, I don't understand why you couldn't say "I forgot something/my phone, I'm going to go get it. Be right back"

I'm gonna be the devil's advocate here and assume you're real and not care how old you are. You asked, "I wanted to see if what me and my Fiance fought about is normal or a bad sign." This is a great site for wedding/relationship advice and I hope that you stick around if you're real and are seeking advice from us. It's usually good and always honest. Yes, it's normal for couples to fight at any time over stupid stuff. This is what I would consider a non-essential argument and one you shouldn't let bother you too much, it shouldn't be relationship altering. Also, you shouldn't be addicted to your cell phone. Many people are, but it not only causes conflicts in relationships, but is also rude and dangerous.

    Wow.

    Really?

I mean...my FH and I have arguments, but not over stupid things like cell phones.

Break the addiction. Spend some time talking with your FH. Will it REALLY kill you to be without it for a night?

    *sigh*
