Is funfetti for a wedding cake too "birthday party"?

You can totally do funfetti cake! You can have unconventional flavors but its good to offer a variety too. Like maybe a plain vanilla layer and then a carrot cake layer because not everyone eats carrot cake.

Not finalized yet, but we're thinking funfetti with vanilla buttercream, chocolate with cookies and cream buttercream, and pink champagne with raspberry buttercream.

I don’t like funfetti, but wouldn’t mind at all if I got that at a wedding. Cake is cake to me and honestly variety from traditional flavors is nice.

I would honestly be relieved it's not another fruit cake. I've only had fruit cakes with whip cream at weddings and I don't like it.

Everyone likes funfetti, but make sure you use a baker who knows how to bake it from scratch. Whenever you're baking solid "chunks" into a cake, the batter has to be a certain consistency so all the sprinkles don't just sink to the bottom.
