Invites: Gluing Ribbon to Cardstock?

What would you recommend? I'm working on my invites today and I'm not sure how to glue the ribbon to my card stock. Here's a pic of my invites so you can get an idea of what I need to do. The picture is my mock up, which I just used Elmer's glue on, which wrinkled the paper...

I would recommend using glue dots for this particular purpose.

Glue dots as suggested above, or i used the scrapbooking double-sided adhesive (it comes like like a little roller?)

I used hot glue. Inexpensive and worked like a charm!

I agree, the glue dots. You can see the hot glue under the ribbon (it looks lumpy) whereas the dots aren't visible.
