Tacky. Sounds like he could benefit from some ww advice. Also sounds as though they are not very close now. I keep asking myself when thinking about my guest list..how long has it been since I've actually interacted with this person and what is the likely hood of me keeping in contact after the wedding.

My FH would be saying well I guess you have one more seat, because he wouldn't go without me if I weren't invited. His words, not mine. He's having I go to a wedding alone this weekend because I have to work and it's his cousin.

Please forgive me for this but the abbreviation of save the date threw me off so much! I was very confused about how you and your fiancé got an std from one of his friends! I hope I could at least bring some laughter with this comment! But I definitely think his friend didn't treat the situation appropriately. You don't invite only half of a serious couple.
