Invite: Need help picking a ribbon

Hi Vicki! Your invitations look great!

I love the example picture you have in your post, it's really pretty and simple. Were there any ribbons similar to the one in the picture in the fabric store?

What will be on your custom wax seal?

Thank you! The seal will be this design - 1" round. We already ordered the pearly white wax to go with it, so sticking with that. The store had everything, but I didn't see anything quite like this - satin doesn't have that see-through quality and organdy is almost too see-through. I took a photo of my top 4 - in my head it just started to feel like a lot of white! Maybe I'm overthinking it?

Personally, I like the two bottom ribbons in the picture. Is the last one slightly gold?

The bottom one would look nice with either one. I hate to add more confusion with this, but have you thought about adding a sprig of lavender?

I like the second from the top and the bottom ones best. Your invitations are lovely, and the stamp is so cool!

The last one is a little champagne-y gold, it definitely has a shimmer. I just don't know that it will clash with the yellow gold on the invites? Am I just overthinking that it needs a pop of color?

I love this idea, but FH might kill me if I try to stuff anything else in these envelopes!

I like the white, but I think an ivory or tan would be great too.

Unfortunately I'm still waiting on the sample proof from the printer so couldnt bring it with me. The fabric store isn't far from my office so wanted to get a jump start before the long weekend so we can make some decisions once the proof arrives!

Perhaps you should wait until you get your invites from the printer and then you can bring it to the fabric store and see exactly which one goes.
