It doesn’t hurt to ask.

But keep in mind they’re not essential workers so depending how things are where you are, they may or may not be able to.

We are doing the exact same thing! Our photographer allowed us to book an extra small session this year and used the money we already had down to do so, so we will make up the difference for next year! I would recommend reaching out and seeing what they can do for you. A lot of vendors understand what’s going on and are being extremely helpful
