Insecure about my wedding dress because it isn’t completely white and is revealing at the top

Insecure about my wedding dress because it isn’t completely white and is revealing at the top 1
Hello. I bought my dress last summer and absolutely loved it. However, I have been looking at other weddings to get ideas for mine and noticed a dress like mine is uncommon because it isn’t completely white. Does this matter? Or are nude dresses just not the current trend? I think my dress really flatters my body type and I feel very confident in it. I’m just afraid it looks more like a prom dress rather than a wedding dress - something I would like to avoid. I’m also a little insecure about the plunge neck, as I have small breasts. I’m worried this dress will make me look flat chested. It doesn’t need alterations but I have considered taking it to a seamstress to put bra cups in it that will give me a lift. What do you all think? Do I pull it off?

The nude underlay is very popular right now. It is very clearly a wedding dress and looks beautiful.

I think you pull it off well, it doesn’t matter that it isn’t completely white. I personally don’t like all white dresses. If you want to you could add a jeweled belt, that might look nice just to jazz it up a little bit. I don’t think it looks like a prom dress at all.

Thank you! That’s a good idea - I will look into it to see if a belt will add some jazz to it.

Ummmm YES! You absolutely pull it off! That dress fits you like a glove! It is super flattering, and personally, I don't like when dresses make me look super boobalicious. Makes me feel like I will spill out! 😳 You will be wearing the whitest dress there, and it doesnt look like a prom dress at all! You rock that dress, girlie!

Nude is becoming pretty popular. I went shopping last weekend and a lot of the dresses has the nude underlay.

You look very pretty in your dress! I wouldn't mistake your dress for anything but a wedding dress.

I actually think if anything that the nude colors are becoming more popular! I wouldn’t think that your dress is a prom dress at all, and I actually really like the nude undertone in it

It’s a very flattering dress! I love the lace and shoulders. It’s definitely a wedding dress. If you will feel more comfortable with bra cups than add them. It couldn’t hurt, especially since you don’t need other alterations (lucky you!). You look beautiful and you can see you love the dress.

I think the dress looks great on you! If you love it and feel confident I would stick to the dress! I like that is not completely white. I think this is starting to become a trend where the dresses are not completely white. It looks better when there is a contrast so the lace or details pop more. If you feel like you need something more, you could always accessorize with jewelry.

I think you look absolutely beautiful. It looks like it fits perfectly. I love the veil with it. White or nude, I think it's all preference ( I also never follow any trends lol) . the thing is

Do you feel comfortable in it? Because you're what matters here.

The color looks great. White is not flattering on many people and you'll still be married no matter what color you wear. It doesn't look like a prom dress at all.

If the plunge bothers you...(for example you would not be allowed to wear that in a church) then get a different dress that you are 100% confident in.

Thank you! I have picked out some gold jewelry to accessorize it, and hopefully, glam it up some

Thank you! I feel very comfortable in it. My only nich with it now, is my search for a hairstyle that will go perfectly with it

Thank you! I agree about white not flattering a lot of skin tones. I plan on hitting up the tanning bed quite a bit before the wedding. I’m not getting married in a church, but that is definitely something to consider. I thought about contacting a seamstress to see if they could possibly put some white lace where the plunge is to kind of cover it up. Not sure how that would look though

I fell in love with my dress. But I had the same problem. The back of my dress is very detailed. So I wanted to wear my hair down but I wanted to show the detail. I found a nice side do. But it's my only real issue with my dress. So I feel that!
