Initial guest list count - Estimate?

Pretty much identical to yours. Luckily we chose a venue with a maximum capacity of 220 people and thats help to keep the guest list under control

We invited 195 and ended up with 150

We invited 115 and ended up with exactly 100 rsvp-ing yes. We had 9 drop out in the last week, and something like three people add at the last minute so that we ended up paying for 7 people who didn't show. I didn't have any "no call, no shows" but I had two couples and one guy tell me the day of that they weren't going to be coming. (note to anyone who has to drop out of attending the day of, do NOT text message or call the bride the day of her wedding to say that you're not going to come. It's too late at that point. Just apologize after the fact, jesus).

It was 125 our guest list now is 150 (FILs added 28 but they're paying for them) so total 178 will be invited. Hopefully 125 show up :-)

Expecting 200 or so, once we finished (with plus 1s) we were at 350

In my head I thought a 120 person wedding sounded perfect, and then we made our guest list and it was around 145. We ultimately decided to cut out a bunch of guests, keep it to just closest friends and family, and go much smaller and intimate! So we've invited about 110, expecting about 85-90... this feels so much more comfortable and manageable for us

My best advice, based on a gazillion years of catering and officiating, is the absolute most you can figure on NOT showing (of course, based on how far away they live, etc) is 10%, less if your list is small. 20% is living risky, especially if you can't fit them into the venue.

We invited 122. our final guest count after confirming rsvps and everything is 52.

I wanted 200, we are at 315 right now.... I believe that is our final count for now.

Our initial "cap" was 160. We're actually inviting close to 175. Luckily the venue can hold up to 220, but I really don't want that many. Hopefully we end up with only 160 attending

I wanted to invite 100 max, but now it looks like we are inviting around 120.

Our invitations were sent out to 280 people including everyone's kids and lots of second cousins and such. All of my family besides immediate was from out of state so 90% did not show up. We had right under 150 guests at our wedding.

We started at 150, and are currently at 163.

Our guest list started out as 265 but we are down to 160.. Thank god!! Our venue and seating has a lot to do with the major cut down. We expect at least 150 to actually come.

When we first talked about it we wanted to stay at 80 guests max. Once we tallied up all the people we want to invite it was 120. Oh well. We're figuring we'll have around a 100 actually attend.

Our venue requires a min of 100, we were initially ok with that... but its looks like we are going swiftly towards 120-130

We wanted to keep it to 100, but quickly realized that wasn't possible when we started actually writing names down. We are at 160. Most are out of state, so we will see how it goes.

Our very first list came out to about 185. We cut it down to 150 before sending STDs. We expect to actually invite 155ish. We are expecting 145 to show. Our venue has a 150 person minimum so with us and vendors we should hit that number. Our venue can hold 300.
