I'm thinking about using labels to address my wedding invitations?

I doing the same thing Jillian did and running the envelopes through the printer.

Why use labels when you can get envelopes with names and addresses printed on them, for free- and you can pick the font you want. im ordering from Minted.com

$9 for 75 envelopes

Clear labels are a lifesaver! I thought it would look tacky too, but it turned out alright.

We tried this over the weekend and honestly the labels didn't look good. We used clear labels on white envelops and it looked funny. We ended up printing the addressed directly on the envelops and it looked so much better!

@dburger Amen join the club. I did my STD by hand as well and said hell naw not doing this again. lol

Thanks to @angel_d I went on minted.com and ordering 120 envelopes with addresses done for $14! All you have to do is add the names and addresses and you're done! There are quite a few different styles to choose from, too! This saves a lot of time and ink on my end. I'm going to put my return address on labels and put them on the seal part of the envelope!

@NaSara I just went to there website to check it out. Do you have to buy something that needs envelopes in order to order them or is there something I didn't see where I can just order envelopes without any other purchase

I printed mine directly on the envelopes. I downloaded a free font (Pinterest has a 10 Best Wedding Fonts board) that looks like scrolling hand-writing. I chose a nice color and large size. In Word you just select Envelope instead of Label and print on the envelope itself. They look beautiful!

I used labels. I just made sure all my formatting was nice and away I went. We had white envelopes which helped. But honestly my writing is awful and I didn't want to pay someone to do it or just pawn it off to someone with nicer writing so labels it was!
