I’m overwhelmed with decor and flowers...ideas help?

Brittany, on July 14, 2019 at 12:59 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 19
I’m getting married in late October, my colors are navy and blush with hints of burgundy. I’ve already got my bouquet and made two floral arrangements for the church. I’m leaning more towards real flowers for everything else. But, I don’t have the funds/ want to spend the money on a florist. I’ve thought about babies breath for bridesmaid bouquets, because of cost...but feeling like it may not mesh well with what I’ve already got? What do you think? Am I over thinking this? Thank you Smiley smile

What about one blush rose for each of the girls? You could easily get those from a grocery store.

I saw baby's breath for the bridesmaids bouts once and it looked really nice. It was an outdoor wedding and fit her theme.

Agreed! Bouquets are so beautiful but I can't make myself spend thousands of dollars on florals so I'm doing flowers only for myself and my bridesmaids.

I’d use the silk flowers and add real baby’s breath. Best of both worlds! And they can keep them forever!

I love your flowers. I think a single rose or a bouquet of greenery would be beautiful for your girls.

I think the baby’s breath would look fine. If you wanted to bring it all together you could add some to the arrangements you already have. They are beautiful!

You could do just greenery and it'd have a nice pop, eucalyptus has a nice smell if nobody's allergic.
Single roses in red or blush with babies breath would be cute for bridesmaids, tie a navy bow around it will look really put together.
Remember five years from now people aren't going to remember the small bouquets, they're going to say "your bridesmaids looked beautiful standing next to you".
