I'm not sure where to put this but want a professional wedding website building

Hi all,
I hope everyone is happy and well (with everything that is going on). I've not long been engaged. I want to show my journey from engagement right through to the honeymoon, so I can share it with my family and friends.I'm looking for a web designer that specialises in wedding website design. I know you can build free websites on Wix and other websites but...
1. I don't want to design the site myself and I just don't like the templates on most of these sites. Plus I want to match the colour scheme of my wedding.
2. I want to be able to talk to someone on the phone. Not a technical support page or a bot.
3. I don't want my website to be littered with adverts. I understand that's how the sites make their money back, but it's just not what I want.
Does anyone know of anyone know of a wedding website designer?
Thank you,
Susie x

    Hi Susie,

Have you tried Taylor Created? They sound like they're exactly what you're looking for.

If not, it sounds like Wedding Wire offer a wedding website service too.

Thank you Erin! I love your profile photo by the way. Amazing photography.

Do you know if you can pay for someone to do all the design for you? Just ring them up? Or is this another one where they give you a template that you edit yourself?

We used Wix and it's completely customizable. Our site doesn't look exactly the same as the template. Literally everything you see on the templates can be removed and turned into something different.

To get rid of the ads, we just bought a domain and a "personal use" plan with the Wix site for a year and it was less than $50. The site doesn't match our current theme because it's a new wedding plan.
I've spent SO MUCH time making it the way it is now that I refuse to change it lol. Otherwise it would have matched lol. I hope you find something that works for you.

I used the Knot. Some of our friends also use the Knot. Other friends of ours used Zola.

Thank you so much everyone for your help! I'm checking out all your suggestions :-)

This was my worry with the customise yourself ones - the "too much time".

I tried to create my own website using Wix for a previous business. By the time I'd spent the days customising it and working out how to use the program, I decided NEVER AGAIN :-D

I've now signed up for accounts on all the websites you've mentioned and I'll have a play.

I also got a quote back from Taylor Created - Thank you for that suggestion. It was a lot cheaper than I expected so I might just pay the money and get a professional to make it.

    Love to all!

No problem. I only spent so much time on it cause I'm a perfectionist and I had so many ideas that the original template didn't have so I made it complicated for myself lol. I am completely finished with it though, desktop and mobile version. Even though I refuse to change it to match my current wedding colors, I couldn't be happier with it. I hope that website designer works out for you! Good luck.
