If you have back fat...

So this is a spin-off of another post because I've seen the topic here many, many times: back fat. So this is a spin-off of another post because I've seen the topic here many, many times: back fat.

Back fat isn't usually fat though, it's frequently migrated breast tissue from wearing an ill-fitting bra. Some 80% or more of women wear the wrong sized bra. I'll include a link in the first comment that goes into more detail, for ease of copy/pasting, but for me, it was literally life-changing!

Stores that measure incorrectly, like VS and JCPenney, all claimed I was a 40DDD. I dealt with quad boob for years thinking they were the bra people, they knew what they were talking about. Ha, no. When I measured by this blog's instructions, I was a US 36O/P! That's a HUGE difference, and I feel SO much better, no back pain, clothes fit better, etc.

So if you're trying to get rid of back fat, you might check out your bra and see if it might be the culprit, because you can't work migrated breast tissue off like you can fat.

Hopefully this helps others!!

I've been wearing a 36 DD/DDD but lately I've just been wearing sports bras to avoid quad boob. I'll be trying this, thanks! Also Lane Bryant's underwear line Cacique sells a big variety of sizes with pretty designs

    Apparently I am a 38F.

That's kind of a terrifying number, but I'm going to order a bra off the Internet anywayslol.

Lane Bryant finally fitted me in the right size bras and it's like night and day!

    I was a 44D. Previously a 48DD. I'm actually between a C and D now

For the shapewear they reccomended up a bra size and down a

Cup size and it seems more comfortable than the corset I

Bought at David's. I bought the new one on Amazon but the girls at Lanes advised me lol.

I emailed myself home with this... but here's my big question. Does anybody know of any place to buy padded bras where you can remove the padding? Reason why.... I have BLT... Literally, my left side is a cup size bigger than the right. I usually get the padded bras and remove the padding from the left and put it in the right so that I at least appear equal and not lop sided.

    eta to make sense

I've been living in 34-36 C's, and I knew my bra didn't fit right. The straps always fall down and I feel like my boobs always fall out of it. This measured me at a 30E which sounds like it will be super fun to find, but I'm going to try and order a new one off line because nothing could be worse than the one I have!

I missed this yesterday and am so glad it got bumped. I can't wait to go home and measure myself!

That's a weird sentence to type. Makes me feel like a 13yr old dude.

Wowww. I just did this and I'm a 42I! I've been wearing a 44DD. I never ever knew the cups could be a problem. I always thought the band just had to keep getting bigger in order to fit right.

@Jennifer: Unfortunately, I don't. My right side is literally 1.5 cup sizes bigger than the left, so I just have to buy for it and hope there's not too much extra fabric on the left, lol.

    What about molded cup bras?

@JJ: I recommend Amazon. Panache is a GREAT brand for larger busts! Is that in US or U.K. sizes? Panache uses U.K. sizing.

@JJ: A lot of sellers put the Panache bras on sale a lot. I usually wait until they're $12-$15 and scoop them up cheap!
