I bought these white gift boxes because the royal blue ones were crazy expensive. Any ideas on how i can paint the blue? Spray paint? Ideas on how to paint gift boxes blue. 1

I’m not sure paint will stick? Maybe try washi/duct tape or wrapping each piece individually with wrapping paper?

I would suggest sanding off the gloss before painting. Then spray or acrylic paint would work, and you can go over that with a gloss spray or brush-on solution if you want it to be shinier!

Hey there, Norma. I too wonder if it will be possible to paint over the gloss. As the PP mentioned, you may need to sand this off first! I would suggest visiting an arts and crafts store and speaking with an attendant. If possible, bring a sample box with you so they can give you accurate advice Is there a Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or somewhere similar near you?
