How about a photo area of pictures of you and your dad from when you grew up?? Or instead of the dad daughter dance, you can have a slideshow of pics of the two of you in pics.

How about allowing him to make a special toast? Maybe before you and your husband have your first dance.

What is he into? If he prefers not to be in the spotlight, maybe a special gift would be in order, or maybe he could be your "official" witness.

Right now Miss Michal not much of anything. My dad has been a hard worker all his life. He became a mutilmillionaire about 6 years ago. He made some investments and the economy went bad. Things just didn't pay off for him. He has had some really hard times. He was diagnosed with nerve damage to both his legs. The Dr. have been working with him but said he will probably never walk again "alone" if he does it will be with a walker. He has gotten very depressed because of this. It's a very touchy subject with him about walking. Don't ever take your legs for granted because you never know when you might not be able to use them anymore.

Hi Michella, I know of DJ's who during the Father/Daughter dance had the Bride pre-record a message for her dad and it blended in with the music. It totally takes dad by surprise, you can do this with his favorite song during the reception as you are sitting there at the table with him and the DJ doesn't even have to anounce it's for him. When toast are done (if you are doing them), and everyone is seated for dinner he can play the song than and your message to him. Just make sure you have tissue near by Smiley smile. Please let me know if you choose this and how it comes out.

You could also play a voice over song during a slideshow. That would add a nice touch to the pics.

    Hi All,

Very late to the party, but I do want to let other visitors know that my company does custom song remixes with voice-overs from the bride and groom. We can customize any of your favorite love songs by adding your own voiceover. We can add a voice-over to a first dance, mother son, and father daughter song to pleasantly surprise your loved ones. Check it out here: http://www.generationcentertainment.com/custom-wedding-songs/
