I need to lose 5lbs in one week. Help a girl out!

My first dress fitting is next Tuesday 4/28 - I know it's early but my dress has a ton of details and has Swarovski crystals from top to bottom so i need the seamstress to truly take her time with it and if she can't do it I'll still have time to find someone else. I am scared as shit to be honest...

I am scared as shit to be honest and I know its gonna cost me!

I tried my dress on last night and it was still a bit tight on me. I need to lose about 5-7lbs fast - Any advice??

    You won't be able to lose anything long term in a week, but any time I need to just fit into something snug...it's raw vegan, lots of water, and walking every day!

    Now is a good time to start a diet and exercise routine. If you are looking for something that will help you gradually get used to going to the gym, I recommend trying Jamie Eason's Live Fit 12 Week trainer. It is free on bodybuilding.com. It gives you guidelines for food and specific workouts that start with weights for the first few weeks and then adds more cardio and specialized workouts. I love love love it.

    Mic's suggestion of a colon cleanse got me thinking...you could do colon hydrotherapy. Whammo...5lbs gone and you feel great. Then just eat lightly.

    3 Day Juice Cleanse with Jus by Julie. @HereCometheYorks and I did it successfully and did not die at all. I even worked out during those days. Lost 7 pounds and kept it off.

    I agree that if you're not used to working out, then working some in would probably make a difference in a week! Power walking (4 miles an hour) is the perfect fat burner

    I also say if your gym has a sauna, go in there everyday for about 15 minutes. I love it!

    Also, kind of like what Rosemary suggested- I do the same but I use Albolene instead and rub it on my tummy. Then I put on a waist trimmer I got from Dick's sporting goods. I use it when I do cardio and the spread does pour!

    Does anyone know if there's a calculation to measuring body fat? I'd like to now where I'm starting, though I'm not curious enough to go to my gym to get pinched by one of those fat pincher things lol

    What everyone else said: fresh fruits and veggies for the next week, some lean protein to keep you alive LOL. Lots of water, even if you think its too much drink it. exercise that makes you sweat (typically cardio) in clothes that make you sweat like sweats, hoodies, and layers (drink lots of water).

    Drink hot lemon water as soon as you wake up. Don't eat anything for an hour. Replace your breakfast with a green smoothie (almond milk, spinach or kale, and your choice of frozen fruit). Instead of eating a big dinner, eat a big lunch, as your metabolism slows down towards the end of the day. Don't overdo it at the gym. I'd stick to just 30 minutes of cardio per day. Drink lots of water. Try to cut out sugar if you can (no soda especially).
