I need to lose 5lbs in one week. Help a girl out!

My first dress fitting is next Tuesday 4/28 - I know it's early but my dress has a ton of details and has Swarovski crystals from top to bottom so i need the seamstress to truly take her time with it and if she can't do it I'll still have time to find someone else. I am scared as shit to be honest and I know its gonna cost me!

I tried my dress on last night and it was still a bit tight on me. I need to lose about 5-7lbs fast - Any advice??

    Try drinking more water and cut out salts as much as possible. depending on where it was tight it could just be bloat/water weight.

    Anything drastic you do will mostly be water weight. You could probably lose a couple pounds of fat, but anything over that in a week will just be the bloat. That will help get into the dress but it won't be permanent.

    Lots of water, filled up on veggies and fruit. Don't eat anything processed.

    You can't really lose 5-7 lbs in a week but you can drop some water weight. I did a 2 week liver cleanse last summer and dropped some water weight, cut out all sugar, wheat, and caffeine. Eat lots of fruit and veggies. Drink hot water with lemon first thing every morning. Drink lots of water to flush out your system. You'll retain water if you're dehydrated.

    Are you working out? When I first started working out I was losing 2-3 lbs per week consistently, so I would recommend working out. Now that I'm approaching my "target" weight, it's becoming slightly harder to drop lbs (around 1-1.5lbs per week) but I'm still dropping in terms of body fat % (down 7%).

    Working out, eating healthy, and drinking LOTS of water. 5lbs in one week is a lot, but you could "lose" it by drinking lots of water and cutting out unhealthy food (since you'll lose water weight). But I would suggest to try to maintain healthy eating or working out that way you don't gain it all back after the week. Smiley smile

    Unfortunately, I don't workout! Ugh I know I sound lazy. Lots of water, veggies, fruits, no processed foods! Great thanks!! I am also trying to cut down on carbs.

    If you can fit an hour walk in 3-4 days a week that could help a little too.

    You can't lose the kind of weight that matters in that quantity in that period of time. It will be water weight and if you try and lose water weight, it will result in the dress just being snug when it's time to get married. Don't worry too much about your first fitting anyway. She can focus more on the hem until you feel more comfortable.

    Funny you said that Rosemary because my mom used to wrap herself in a plastic wrap and put on a waist trimmer. She used to clean the house wearing this and when she took it off sweat was dripping everywhere. Thanks!!

    Do hardcore Atkins induction and you'll lose up to 7 in one week. You'll also be tired, have really bad breath and want to kill peeps...but you'll lose the weight. Good luck.

    Try cutting out gluten. I know it sounds like a fad, but I did it and lost 5 pounds in a week. I think the biggest reason is you're more aware of what you're eating and not snacking on tons of carbs.

    Water, vegetarian for the week, and a cleanse. Not a juice cleanse like a colon cleanse.

    1200 calories or less a day. this makes it impossible to have alcohol, sugar or processed food.

    If you aren't currently exercising, that will help tremendously. Try doing small workouts during the commercial breaks of a show you are watching. I do crunches, situps, jumping jacks, squats, etc. Basically whatever I can think of. Then when the commercial break is over I can sit and relax and feel some satisfaction lol.
