I had an excellent experience at DB both with buying my dress and the alterations. You could always see what they would charge and then see if you can get it cheaper

My sister is a seamstress and recently started to work at a bridal salon and she said that most small alterations shops won't do wedding dresses just because altering that kind of dress is so much more complicated
