I ordered wedding koozies that of course had the date of my wedding....problem is my date changed!!! How should I handle this? I don’t want to reorder them, because they weren’t cheap. What do y’all think about still using them, but hang up a sign that says something cute about the date change? If so ideas on what to put on the sign?

How long ago did you order? Could you reach out to them and see if they could help you out and maybe reprint them due to a typo?

    Hi Sabrina!

Welcome to the WeddingWire community Smiley smile

As Chandra advised, I would first reach out to the company and see if there is any way to change the date on them. Have you done this? Is it possible?

If not possible, let us know, and we can help come up with some signage ideas Smiley smile

If you don't mind me asking why did you change your date? If I was in your situation and they couldn't be exchanged and ordering them again isn't a choice, I would put a cute/ funny sign explaining the different date. Like a cute quote about life happening or change in plans but you are so happy they are here with you guys today.

It's not a typo though. The vendor shouldn't have to pay for the couple's date change.

As far as changing them vs. keeping them, I don't like to collect items that have other people's names and dates on them, so to me it wouldn't matter if the date was correct or not.

If you still want to use the ones with the wrong date, I would just put them out without a sign. Why draw attention to it, unless the reason you changed dates is a funny story?

I did. Because it was not a typo and a date change, they won’t fix them. :/. So my options are, put them out and not do anything, keep 300 koozies for myself, or put them out with a cute sign. I’m open to all options, really. We moved the date due to nearly my whole bridal party giving birth very close to the original date. Lol

I think you could still use these if you're happy with a cute sign explaining the date change!

How far apart is the original date, from your new date?

You could you do something cute/funny, welcoming the babies to the world with pictures of them, explain the date was changed because of their births?!

I'm just brainstorming here, but something like "Did You Know.... Our original wedding date was ../../..... We decided to change our date so we could celebrate once these special souls joined the world."

Do you think this is something you could work with?

Will you create a sign with this messaging, Sabrina? I'd love to see a pic Smiley smile
