Congratulations! I’m getting married exactly a week after you. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed myself, but we’ve been engaged since December 2018, so since then, we’ve decided to go with a backyard wedding, we’ve mostly come to a solid guest list (give or take a few), and I’ve found my dress! Definitely agree with the comment before me that budget, venue, and guest list are the big three for the very beginning of the planning process. Don’t be like me and say “We don’t have a budget as long as we’re not in debt afterwords” because even that is a little stressful. Definitely consider start a wedding savings account, too! Best of luck, and have fun planning your big day! 💕

Figure out how much you can afford or if your parents are helping out. And add all that together if you are putting money together. Budget really helps not go way over. My mother in law didn’t give us a budget and we are triple over our thought process of what we were going to be spending. But after budget then definitely find a venue and guest list. Then the next is food/desserts. Like another person any wedding website has a good timeline on how to complete tasks but this one is my favorite. It very easy to follow! Good luck! Try to have fun because it will be over fast! Reach out if you need help!

Only you can know your budget. Some people’s budget is 4,000 some 40,000

We are paying for the renewal ourselves, so it's like $2,000 right now. Agreed with the others though, budget, guest list (rough draft), then venue/

    1. The budget

    2. The guest list (Tentative list, just a rough draft)

    3. Venue that is within your budget and that can contain the amount of guests you have on your list

First things first, get a wedding binder! Go to TodaysBride.com and download & print off their wedding planner. It's totally free once you create an account! Attend the Today's Bride wedding shows, they are SUPER helpful and the tickets are super cheap. Pinterest is also a GREAT option for inspiration and assistance!
