The costs for caterers in Richmond seem to be rather high...please send ideas..this would be for 80 people tops...

Have you checked out Italian and BBQ options? They tend to run cheaper than your average catering service.

Check local restaurants. Taco Bars are also trending and inexpensive right now. You could check food trucks too. Good luck!

I would check BBQ or Mexican! Or a local food truck. We catered a 50 person party BBQ for $500.

Hi Lester! Welcome to the WeddingWire Community! I definitely know from experience that local restaurants tend to have really affordable catering options, so I would look into ones in Richmond, near you, to see if you can find great packages. The food truck option is also a great, affordable route. I hope you're able to find somewhere! Good luck!

Deep Run Roadhouse and Mission BBQ are great options. I called someone and they quoted me at $40 per person minimum without staff. That's crazy!
