I know nothing about weddings but I’m planning my own. I’m getting married in Oct, got engaged February.

I got all the big things but small things I don’t know what I can miss and not know about? Here is what I have done:

venue
carter
drinks
cake
decorations
officant
dj
photographer
we are not doing video
bouquets
hair and makeup
not doing floral
transportartion
hotel
wedding website
invitations and rvsp
wedding dress (bra, shoes, garter and jewelry included)
going to do bridemaids dresses in May

I feel like I’m done but I’m not 100% sure.

Don't forget your FS attire (suit, tux, etc.) and groomsmen attire.
Those were the only things I could think of!

Have you looked at the checklist on Wedding Wire? It's what is keeping me organized and helping me make sure I don't forget anything!

Seating arrangements, and small details like invites, order of operations how the day is going to go. Who will give a toast or speech, lingerie for wedding night, is anyone throwing you a bridal party? Plan your rehearsal dinner or brunch. Really think about the flowers....

Thank you!! Already have lingerie ready, in the works of my rehearsal dinner. 😁 so excited, haha.

Not into flowers, so saving money on that part.

But thank you! Definitely need to work on day of. My MOH is going to be a big help haha

Have you put your tips for vendors in the budget/started organizing that money? I’ve heard that it’s one of the most common things to forget. Also, did you include vendors in your headcount for food? All the ones that are with you the whole day/most of the day/during the dinner hours should be fed.

Hello!! I did include all of that. I have envelopes prepared. Most of the tips are included in the price which greatly helps!

I did include venders as well. My fiancé was telling me about it.

Im really trying to plan ahead so I can enjoy my summer and not be stressed for time.

    Day of Timeline

    Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner

    Nails

    FH Attire & Groomsman

    What kind of decorations?

Signage - welcome sign, timeline sign, drinks / menu

    Wedding party and parents gifts

tipping (this snuck up on my budget too!)

Send off? Sparklers at night or what I want to do is something fun as we're nearing the end of the aisle after just getting married, I've seen some cute pics of this.
