i hate my wedding dress :(

I'm just here to vent. My wedding is less than a month away and I just picked up my dress from my last appt last week. I just thought that I would love it more.

I bought my dress on a budget because we don't have a lot of extra money to spend, and I'm really not a "dress up" person. I had a "moment" with a dress that was out of my price range but got over it.
My current dress is just not me at all, fits me awkwardly, and doesn't have a train. I dont know what I was thinking when I bought it. I am so disappointed that I have to wear this horrible dress and spend money on it. It makes me feel like a sausage. Sorry, I'm just wallowing 😭

Sausage where?? Of course our opinions don’t mean very much, and it’s all about whether you like the dress. But to me your dress looks great on you and it’s a lot nicer than some of the dresses that I see posted on here. It doesn’t look like all of the fad lace dresses with illusion neck line/backs. Instead, yours has a perfect train and a nice, deep-V back. If anything, I’d add a little wider bling belt but the dress is great.

Remember, it’s about the life long marriage, not just the day. The dress looks great on you. I agree that you might want a fuller slip to bring out the bottom but you know what? The day is coming, you are trying to save money for your future with him, don’t worry so much about the dress. You’ll never look at the pictures again anyway until your 25th ann🙄😆 so enjoy the day!! Smile a lot!

GIRRRRRRRRL, I know it’s hard to feel comfortable and pretty in a dress, specially a wedding dress but honestly I love how perfect this looks on you. It makes your body figure pop, like, it shows all this beautiful curves and you just look absolutely STUNNING. I love it!!! I hope you can either fall in love with it eventually or hopefully you’ll find something that makes you feel more confident.💓 but either way, you look and are gorgeous

I think it's beautiful, if you don't like it try to focus on some accessories or possibly doing more with your hair. Hope this helped

Okay so I took some suggestions, have lost a few pounds in the last couple weeks since my last fitting, put on my makeup and accessories, added a petticoat and I'm so much happier with it! Sorry for the crummy mirror pictures lol

I love that dress on you. I think you look stunning. But if you were looking for more of a train and a bigger skirt, if you can find a decently priced skirt to go over the dress to make it more you. I know Davids bridal sells skirt to add to dresses. I'm sure you can find some stuff to add to it from Amazon as well.

When I read that you felt like a sausage I gasped because that is NOT what I thought at all. I was thinking - that girl has a killer figure. Seriously. It grazes every part of your figure perfectly. Nothing is pulling or bulging. Very classy with a vintage vibe.

This might not be your style but I feel like a fun tiara would be really unique way to accessorize the embellished dress and let your figure shine but also draw the eye upward. There’s so many modern boho ones now that aren’t just princessey tiaras. Check around Etsy.
