I don't want a bridal/wedding party ?

Future Mrs.P, on January 11, 2016 at 11:12 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

FH and I were having wedding discussions last night and he asked about bridesmaids , flower girls and etc I wanted. I told him " I'm good" I don't need all of that . I rather not have half-azz people stand next to me just to have someone there. But he mentioned he wants his bestfriend as his BM. Would that be weird to have a BM and no other wedding party ?

    You're fine!

It's becoming much more common now.

No wedding party needed. If he wants a BM that's awesome. I'm sure you have good people in your life who will support you without a label.

I'm skipping a bridal party. To much work an be my wedding is to small. Not worth it, the people I need there will be there. They don't need special names or clothes. I'm happy if they are there.

Many couples are skipping the bridal party, he can always sign the license as a witness that's always the job of the BM and MOH anyway Congrats!
