How many times have you and your significant other broken up before the wedding? Asking for a friend. Really not really. 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄

Well said Andrea. As much as I tell myself I love him, I know it’s not enough. It seems like a pattern to be honest. When big things are happening he seems to find a way to get out of it. Then wants me to blame what and how I do things for family. He’s cut his sister off for a year because she disrespected me at a family gathering. I think he wants me to do the same to my family. But that’s not my relationship with my family. My family talks to him. They are not distant. They are respectful of my feelings

Erin. You are not crazy. Because I feel that way too. Go d are the days of doing what others think is right. Do you.
Our breakups were that I give my family too much. They want to borrow borrow borrow. I’m lent money, lost money, etc. Ryan thinks they use me. And now while my relationship is non existent, they are happy. But it’s my fault too. I offer and give.

You're so strong already! You should never let someone bring you down and you know it too. It took me a long time to realize that I am a strong person and deserve someone who is willing to respect and love me. I am also a big family person, so being respectful of my family was a big deal to me.

I think that if you are happy with where your life is headed then that's all that matters. Smiley heart

My S/O and I are a rare case, high school sweet hearts, first loves, been together 6 years with no breakups. Everyone's different, as long as you two are happy now it doesn't matter what happened in the past.
