So the attached picture is me dropping my dress off at alterations 2 weeks ago. I have lost about 20lbs, and MANY inches all over my body. After I left, went home and cried for 3 hours about my belly bulge even after all my hard work,..... I then had to compose myself. Since then, I have been on a VERY strict diet. No Carbs No added sugars No bread NO NOTHING. Still working out 3-4 days a week, 5 if my schedule allows. My fear is, I am not going to loose this pooch. BTW that's me with spanx on. SO, I am going to ask a border line desperate and embarrassing question.... has anyone Duct Taped their stomach on their wedding day? I did some googling and found you can really pull in this little fat back duct taping your entire stomach. I am curious A. has anyone done this and B. how was it after you have been sweating and dancing all night and C. did you die in pain taking it off that night LOL I currently have a corset on the way to me, but with the lace it is difficult to wear them as corsets are so thick.

Any help is needed, as the past 8 or 9 months I have worked my butt off to loose as much as I could, and for it to still not be enough is devastating.

I'm so sorry, but this is so sad. You look fantastic and I only wish I had your motivation...

You don't need to strap your belly, you look wonderful just as you are.

I really can't see what you want to strap anyhow! We are human, and we have bodies that need to be able to bend... their are organs in there.

Try not to obsess over something that can't be changed, you're great just how you are

To echo what has been said. You have a normal, healthy, BEAUTIFUL body, that is totally rocking that dress. Do not duct tape your stomach, there is absolutely no need and it's going to make you very uncomfortable the entire day.

Even if you aren't strict with it, I think you'll see a difference. I'm not very strict (I average about 30g-50g net carbs a day) and I still saw a difference. I feel better throughout the day too and I still eat what I want I'm just more aware of what I'm putting in. It isn't really a "diet" in the sense of "this will make me lose weight" it's more "this is how I eat" and it just happens to have the somewhat pleasant side effect of helping you reach and maintain a healthy BMI.

I've duct-taped my tatties one time when I couldn't find a strapless bra and I will tell you the rash was UNREAL. Your skin sweats and gets trapped in the tape, so it just sits there and gets sooo painful. I'm sure enough people have told you not to, but just wanted to throw in my two cents! It was not a good time lol!! You look absolutely beautiful in that dress! Embrace who you are inside and out, especially if you were able to lose 20 pounds!! That's no easy feat, congratulations! I had 1.5 years to lose 20 pounds and i lost 10 and that's as far as I can get haha

I'm sure there are some, and I wonder of them how many have considered measures as drastic as this to camouflage them. Probably very few, because their self-worth hasn't been tied to their beauty since the day that they were born the same way that it has with women.

Not sure what your price range is and/or what your feelings are on laser lipo - but I got a groupon for six sessions and have lost several inches. It 'melts' the fat away, but you can gain it back - but if you're on a strict diet, I think you'd be fine.

First you look amazing! Human bodies are all different and I think you look beautiful. I am sure it can be stressful. Everyone wants to look amazing but do not put too much pressure on yourself.

I have not read through the comments but I have no experience with duct taping my stomach. I feel like it would be very painful to get off and/or may sweat off or become uncomfortable while dancing. I have don't some other things to hold dresses in place or a make shift bra once and it was terrible.

You look beautiful! We all have that tummy. I have it and trying to lose it as well. I'm doing the Keto and my tummy has gone down a lot. Also, be careful with fruit. Most are high in sugars. And don't just concentrate on cardio. Throw some weights in there. It will make your body work harder actually Smiley winking

Unfortunately, I have no answers, but I can say I've lost almost 10 lbs since May, i should have some kind of abs or flat stomach, but because of the pooch I don't. It's visceral fat, the hardest type of fat to lose. I'm still hopefully, I'll get it gone, but it's a tough battle. They say flaxseeds, intense exercise, can help, and I've notice it get smaller, but it's not gone yet.

It's a never ending battle for women.

Just keep going at it. Sorry I've never tried the duct tape...though sounds painful.

I think your dress looks beautiful though, by the way.

I think you look great! Buts it’s all about how you feel. Look up intermittent fasting. I dropped 60lbs super fast in less than months and my huge belly is gone! Of course we all will always have some pouch there but this may help make you feel a bit better. 😀

I am 5 6 and weigh 155. I'm skinny and overall fit amd I also have that fat under my belly!! You can see it in any clothes I wear and no matter how hard I work its always there!! Also if I eat any bread or dairy it blows up like a balloon!! So I understand your pain!! But I did buy some under garments that will help flatten your stomach! Items much better than spanx!(what I used to use and didnt help) it's called Yahairas happy butt number 7! It's really good. I was super scared to buy it and worried it would be noticable but it wasnt!! It was a struggle to put on but once it was on, it was like magic! I recommend you look her up on instagram!
