How would you decorate for a planetarium wedding?

I am OBSESSED with astronomy and seriously considered a planetarium wedding myself!! Tbh most “star” themed weddings use colors like dark blue, silver, etc, but I think you could make it so beautiful with any earth tones. You may just have to find decor in your specific colors or DIY some things.

There are tons of star related items like the little bag lanterns below and the greenery/lantern look with naturally colored signs is also nice..... do you have a style you like (rustic, bling, vintage)?

I think it would work perfectly, since they’re all toned down colors and not overpoweringly bright. Definitely post pics when you start getting decorations!! We’re all over the place, too - we want rustic but we’ll be in a conservatory that has greenery and massive windows to see the night sky, and changed our color ideas about three times.

I think the simple, earthy colors would work well. I would want to steer clear of the rustic look (with the barn wood, etc) and more towards the other photos you have posted. There are a lot of geometric/boho features I am seeing as I am looking on Pinterest that might tie it all together.

View Quoted Comment I’ve been thinking about museums, and as it happens the Sloan Museum in Flint mi owns a planetarium that they do weddings in. I’m going to go take a tour in a few weekends. I haven’t made a final decision, but I wanted to think about decor before even heading over there in case I couldn’t think of anything that would work! Thank you!
