How would you accessorize this dress? Pics:

Good evening!
I am so excited to say I have found and ordered my dream dress after three boutiques and four appointments! This is my absolute dream dress, and I’d like a bit of accessorizing advice.
What sort of veil do you think would suit this dress? Jewelry? Headpieces? Shoes? The lighting doesn’t really show it, but the dress has a blush pink hue and a delicate sparkle throughout. Any and all advice is appreciated ❤️How would you accessorize this dress? Pics: 1How would you accessorize this dress? Pics: 2

I think a lace applique veil would go well. You could do elbow length or a little longer. I think some diamonds earrings and accessories would work to match the sparkle. I think ivory, champagne or light pink heels could work. Lovely dress.

Your dress is so lovely! This is the type of dress I had in mind when I went to the shop, but ended up leaving with something a bit different.

I personally think you could easily skip a necklace and just do earrings (statement or simple). You could also do a simple/dainty bracelet, but not necessary either imo.

I'm still not 100% sure what accessories I want myself. So far I've purchased cluster studs from Olive + Piper since their bridal jewelry matches my dress well.

    What length is your train?

What theme are you going for - romantic, ethereal, glam etc? Pinterest will help you brainstorm as well.

    Glam - diamond hanging earrings

Ethereal - low updo with baby's breath flowers intertwine in your hair

You look beautiful in your dress!!

I would wear nude shoes & some type of rhinestone earrings.
I wouldn’t wear a necklace - so you don’t take away from the pretty straps, detailing, etc. on the front/neckline.
If you’re set on wearing a veil - I’d go for a very plain one that won’t hide the detailing on the back of your dress. Do you think you’ll be able to find a veil that matches the color of your dress?

Thank you so much! Honestly this is not the kind of dress I pictured myself in at all, but from the moment I saw it on the rack I knew it was the one. Something about the colors and fabric and sparkle just pulled me in Smiley smile
That’s a great question - I’m not sure how long the train is. I’ll need to figure that out when mine arrives. I like your ideas for simple accessories that don’t distract from the dress!

Ethereal is what I’m leaning towards right now... I love your idea to intertwine baby’s breath in the hair!! Totally going to try that at my consultation!

    Thank you so much 💜
I agree about keeping the accessories minimal. You make a good point about the veil... I feel like it would complete the look, but at the same time I would hate for it to clash or obscure the details... hmmm..

I can see why! Smiley heart It definitely looks like it's out of a fairytale.

My dress has a chapel train, so I think I'm going to go with a cathedral-length veil that's very plain - maybe just a thin border of sparkle or beading. My dress has a lot of detail, lace, and beadwork, which I don't want to hide either. Cathedral veils aren't for everyone or for all dresses, but if I did a shorter one, I think it would hit weird on the back and take away from some of that detailing.

I think you have some flexibility with your dress though - which of course always makes decisions harder haha!
