How to know if I’ll be invited to a friends wedding

I have a friend who recently got engaged, and I’ve been wondering if I’ll be invited to the wedding. I’ve known the friend by going to school together, but over the past few years we haven’t really been close. I’ve hung out with her and a group of her friends several times this year, but it was a group setting. I don’t think we’re the closest friends and sometimes I wonder if we’re more friendly acquaintances than friends, and it seems like there’s a lot more people she’s closer to.
I don’t talk with the groom, other than a “hi” if I see him.
