How to keep "casual" in the beach wedding - indoor reception?

Our casual, laid back BEACH wedding & reception guest list has grown from 50 to 85! Smiley kiss

The ceremony will still be on the beach - but the outdoor tiki pavilion reception at Shepard's Beach Resort had to be moved indoor to the Wave Ballroom. Smiley star How can we keep the reception casual and fun now that it's being held inside? The shorts and Hawaiian shirts, shoes optional for the guys, casual dress for the ladies - can it be transferred inside the resort now?! HELP!! ! Smiley heart

    Essentially, I would start with reaching out to the venue. Do they have a dress code indoors? Start there and maybe even ask them if they have suggestions for how to keep a similar vibe!

    Agree with Samantha. See if they can send you a gallery of previous weddings held there to take inspiration from.

    Thank you Samantha & Jacks .., There is a dress code for the venue. Thank you for the reminder. I guess "shoes optional" will be for walking on the beach!! I'll have to look at the rest. I've let the DJ we had to also hire know what our original plans were - so, hopefully, he can play a lot of Jimmy Buffet music!!!
