How to cope with Covid-19 and upcoming wedding

Hi Everyone. So for all my fellow brides that have Summer/Fall weddings, how are you guys holding up with wedding planning and any anxieties due to the coronavirus? I'm scheduled to get married this fall (September) and I have been totally freaking out with not knowing if we can still have a wedding. I'm also caught in between trying to get other random things done for the wedding. It has definitely been a struggle with continuing to plan or even wonder if I should plan. So how is everyone handling this situation?

Hi! I’m September 26th. I’ve just been trying to take it day by day and not get super stressed. I got all of my planning done early, so all of our vendors are hired and I’m really just working on decor and picking out rentals. I do feel guilty/weird continuing to plan or even be excited about it right now. But I know this will pass and I’m trying to remain hopeful that I’ll get to have my dream wedding on that day.

I postponed from April 11th so I had literally everything done except the seating chart and welcome bags.
I think that it's difficult to plan during this time since it's anxiety producing. But, if you have more free time than you can definitely do whatever planning you have left. If you're not feeling up to it, don't rush yourself. You have plenty of time still! Wait another few weeks and see how you feel then.

I've been trying to take it day by day myself. Some days are better than others but I am so thankful that I got all of the big stuff completed. It's hard to be excited about planning a wedding but I'm hopeful that the fall weddings will be able to happen.

I’m also a September bride. I’m moving forward and still planning. I pray every night the virus is gone before our date. My fiancé and I’ve talked and came up with a plan b in case we need it.

Hi Ashley! No matter when your wedding date - it's totally fair to feel nervous! It sounds like a lot of September couples are holding on to their original plans right now and continuing to monitor the situation.
