How old were you when you got married or how old will you be she you get married?

My wedding is right around the corner and whenever I tell people or have told people in the past I’m getting married soon their 1st question is always how old are you? I was 22 when he proposed and I will still be 22 when I marry my husband but I guess I do look kinda young. when I went wedding dress shopping for the 1st time they thought I was there for prom dresses 😒 so out of curiosity how old were you when you got married? Or how old will you be when you get married? And do you think the age of when you get married really matters?

I am 29 and will be getting married later this month. I don't think age necessarily matters, but I think maturity and where one is in life does.

As long as it's legal, I don't think the age matters if you are 100% ready! I will be 24 (it's the day right before my birthday ) and he will be 26. I'm not sure why so many comment on how young people are getting married. I'm pretty sure I've heard lots of stories from my parent's/grandparent's generations where people would get married right after high school. As a woman, my only concern is the biological time clock to have children. Since FH is on the fence about having kids, I'd rather get married sooner than later due to us wanting to be married for a bit before discussing/trying for kids.

We will both be 28. I don’t think that age matters as long as you’re mature and financially independent.

I was 20 when he proposed and 21 when we will be married. Honestly, age does not matter when you get married. Everyone goes through life differently and goes through different life events at different times that affects the outcome.

My fiance and I will turn 32 two months before the wedding.
Does age make a difference?
I'm glad I spent the largest part of my 20s completely single as I have a very clear picture of who I am. That may not be the way everyone else thinks. But I'm happy.

He proposed when we were both 19 (though he was almost 20), and we’ll be getting married when I’m 21 and he’s 22 (we’re six months apart). As someone who has seen people get married when they were too young (what I mean is, not mature enough, or ready for such deep commitment), I think age can play a part in marriage. I don’t think people should get married before they graduate high school, at least.
