How often do you talk to your wedding planner?

To people who have wedding planners - how often are you and your planner in communication? And what’s your communication like?

    In the beginning, it was a few times a month. As time got closer, it was a few times a week. Right before the wedding, it was almost daily. We got married a little over an hour away from where we live and our planner was local to our venue. So we only physically met with her during "major" planning moments (selecting linens, tables and chairs, picking our menu, selecting our bar menu, etc.). Otherwise, we mostly communicated via email, because that is what I prefer. But I had her cell number and work number also.
