How much should wedding invites cost. Wedding wire apps suggest they will be around $650. Int that kind of a lot?

This depends on who does them.. vistaprint tends to be cheaper.

We spent $582 for 150 invitations. It included the invite card and rsvp card and envelope. They were the fancier cardstock if that makes sense. Everyone said they were gorgeous even though they were so simple so I am glad we did. You could print them yourself off www.minted.com, www.paperstyle.com, www.vistaprint.com if you'd like to try to save a little money.

It depends on a lot of different factors. Look around at different styles, order some samples and find what works for you in your price range.

It really depends on where you get them and what style you're getting. My wedding is more rustic so I didn't order super fancy invites. I got mine from Vistaprint during their semi annual sale and ended up spending around $50 for 100 invites with envelopes.

Wow. I honestly don't see myself sending more than $100 if that. And that's including postage.

Mine are $1.20/each...no RSVP cards (doing online RSVPs). I have heard of some invitations as cheap as $0.80/each to $3-4/each depending on what you get. I don't place much value on invitations as most people throw them out afterwards.

I spent $498.18 on 65 invites with an insert card and rsvp card with all addresses printed on them from Minted. They were on the pricier side but they looked wonderful and I got great feedback from my guests.

I spent $1K on our stds, invite suite, and postage. The one and only request that I got from the person who paid for our wedding was that the invitations be amazing. It can definitely be done for a quarter of that amount though.

Jeez. I'm not planning on spending more than $300 since they're just going to end up in the trash. $650 is so much to me!

Mine were $370 for 150 invites with rsvp cards, return envelopes, hotel accommodations cards, invitation, and envelope to mail them. We went through vistaprint and they almost always have a coupon! So we should've paid well over $400 but saved $105. Definitely recommend them!

I purchased mine on Wedding Paper Divas, but I found a Groupon that allowed me to pay $100 for a $200 voucher to use on invites.

That seems crazy to me but I prefer to diy. I got a set that you print yourself on clearance at Michaels for $15.

We spend about $350 on 150 of them. It could've been cheaper but I was in love with style we chose (more &dollarSmiley winking .

My invite suite for 80 from Wedding Paper Divas cost $680, minus a Groupon worth $500 that I nabbed for $200. That included invitations, envelopes, reply cards, reply envelopes, reception cards, and thank you notes.

Mind that Shutterfly is winding down WPD as of September 12, so if you want to explore that option, get on that pronto.
