- Geographical area

- Season of the year (are you getting married in a peak wedding month, or off-season?)

- Day of the week (many venues offer weekday discounts)

- The number of guests you are inviting / venue capacity

- The number of hours of venue rental

- What is included with the rental (are you renting just the space, or do they provide basics like tables and chairs, or do they also provide the catering?)
