How much are you girls paying for your alterations and what would you recommend me to do, because the dress with alterations is costing almost $3,000 ugh!!

My alterations with the bustle cost about $300. I definitely wouldn't skip the bustle, you don't want to be tripping on your dress or be uncomfortable in it all night. Maybe see if you can find a seamstress or another shop that can do alterations for cheaper.

Mine was 1200 but had lots n lots beading. Had to shorten torso (short girls over here), take it in on top, hem and bustle. Also added cups and beading on part that looked lil empty. But again my dress was fully beaded with a lot details. SF area.

My alterations are 509, for the shoulders to be taken in, sleeves to be adjusted, hemming, taking out one part of the zipper(rib cage won’t shrink!), adding a bustle, and clips to make sure the dress won’t drop below my shapewear. Smiley winking
